The Rebel Alliance is coming together in December's Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and Disney/Lucasfilm is bringing together an alliance of promotional partners.
Duracell, General Mills, Gillette, Nissan, and Verizon are featured marketing partners for the movie, with plans to do "specific, custom-designed campaigns and innovative programs" that will "Complement the tempo and tone of the overall marketing campaign" according to Deadline.
"Each designed a stellar campaign capturing the spirit and camaraderie of Rogue One," said Lucasfilm General Manager Lynwen Brennan.The companies also helped with the run-up to last year’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Each of the companies were involved in the marketnig of 2015's Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but they haven't revealed specifically what they'll be doing for the upcoming movie.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is scheduled to open in theaters December 16.
