Lucasfilm is reportingly casting a young Lando Calrissian to appear in the planned Han Solo spin-off film, according to The Wrap. Reportedly casting under the codename "Chance" (which is coincidentally the nickname of Lando's son in EU lore), Calrissian is said to appear in some fashion opposite Aiden Ehrenreich's Han Solo.
The Calrissian character first appeared in 1980's Empire Strikes Back, played by Billy Dee Williams. Williams reprised the role not only in Return of the Jedi, but also in the recent season of the animated Star Wars Rebels.
The addition of another classic Star Wars character to the film may add credence to the idea that Disney may be considering a full trilogy of pre-Episode IV films with the re-cast Solo.
The as-yet-untitled Han Solo film is scheduled to be released May 25, 2018.
