Grey Damon has been cast as the original Mirror Master for the CW's The Flash, according to CBR. Damon will reportedly debut in the upcoming third season's fourth episode.

"One of the Flash's most infamous Rogues, Sam Scudder -- aka Mirror Master -- is a smooth criminal with a huge ego," reads the show's official description of the character. "Upon discovering he now has the power to travel through any reflective surface, Scudder embarks on a massive crime spree to prove himself the greatest thief that Central City has ever seen."O

Originally created by John Broome and Carmine Infantino for 1959's The Flash #105, the Mirror Master grew to become one of the scarlet speedster's quintessential villains. As well, he is the last major hold-out of the classic line-up of the super-villain team the Rogues to appear in CW's The Flash.

In the 1990s The Flash television series, musician/actor David Cassidy played the Mirror Master.

This will be actor Grey Damon's first time in a comic book-based project. He currently co-stars in David Duchovny's Aquarius on NBC, and also had roles on Friday Night Light, True Blood, Star-Crossed, and The Nine Lives of Chloe King.

The Flash is scheduled to begin its third season October 4 on the CW.
