ABC may have cancelled Agent Carter and passed on Marvel's Most Wanted, but according to network president Channing Dungey, the network isn't done with Marvel TV shows in the least bit.

“We all came to an agreement that the next show that we want to do together is something that is as creatively strong as it can be,” Dungey said of ABC’s work with Marvel at the Television Critics Association summer press tour (via Variety).

As for what the next Marvel show would be, and whether it could follow Netflix’s model of creating an interconnected narrative, Dungey said “That’s an interesting question, and we have talked a little bit about that, yes.”

ABC reportedly has several Marvel projects in the pipeline, including a long-in-development series based on Damage Control, a second untitled comedy, and a project from producer John Ridley which Ridley says will "reinvent" a Marvel character.

As of right now, ABC's only ongoing Marvel series is Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which will premiere its fourth season on September 20.
