Marvel editor Sana Amanat, who is known for her work on numerous Marvel titles including helping co-create the current Ms. Marvel, Kamala Khan, is taking part in the White House's United States of Women summit Tuesday.
Amanat joins numerous prominent women from all walks of life to discuss the role of women in society and media, and to plan steps that aim to increase diversity and visibility in culture.
“It’s an unbelievable honor to be invited to participate in one of the most influential summits devoted to gender equality,” said Amanat. “I am thrilled to represent Marvel in a conversation devoted to the media’s role in a more inclusive future.”
The United State of Women summit can be livestreamed here on June 14.
