The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund (CBLDF) has launched a moving sale on eBay to help fund its relocation from New York City to Portland, Oregon. Over a dozen pieces of original arts and prints are up for grabs, including works by Erik Larsen, Dave Johnson, Robbi Rodriguez, Reilly Brown, and Eric Shanower.

CBLDF has stated that its move to Portland was to reduce operating expanses and to be closer to industry partners in the rapidly-developing Portland comic book community.

“The Fund thrives when we are near to our industry partners and can engage with a dedicated and diverse pool of volunteers, thriving talent scenes, and, above all else, a community that will benefit from and support our work,” said Larry Marder, CBLDF President. “Portland abounds in all of those areas. We look forward to being of service to the city’s community and to working with them to continue developing our ongoing program work in support of the freedom to read comics.”
