Star Wars: The Force Awakens star and Oscar-winner for 12 Years a Slave Lupita Nyong’o is reportedly in talks to co-star in Marvel’s Black Panther.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Nyong’o is being eyed to star opposite Chadwick Boseman in the 2018 film, which will be written and directed by Creed director Ryan Coogler.

The role in question is unnamed by the Hollywood trade, but is reportedly T'Challa's love interest. In comic books, T'Challa was married for a time to the X-Man Storm, but given 20th Century Fox's ownership of the X-Men movie rights that character would be unavailable.

Black Panther is scheduled for release February 16, 2018.
