With its planned release date just over one year away, Warner Bros.'s Wonder Woman has completed filming - and director Patty Jenkins and leading lady Gal Gadot are celebrating the good times they had on set. First, a photo of the immense cast and crew from Jenkins:
"So happy and excited to have wrapped the first Wonder Woman film!! And one William Marston’s birthday, no less! (WW’s creator)," Jenkins tweets. "What an incredible cast and crew. So grateful to them. And going to miss being with Gal Gadot every day. What a shining star of a person. Good, kind, strong and impressive and what a performance! Gal is a Wonder Woman, for real."
"And Chris Pine is one of the greatest people I’ve ever met. He blew my mind and became one of my favorite humans," the director continues. "Mindblowing talent and what a special spirit. Gal and my best friend, and partner, beginning to end. I love those guys and the whole cast and crew."
Gadot herself celebrated the end of filming for Wonder Woman earlier in the week with a Instagram post.
"Today was my last day shooting the solo @wonderwomanfilm!" the actress said. "It's been such an amazing, exciting, dreamy, happy and fascinating experience I will cherish it forever. Thank you to everyone who was involved, our amazing cast, crew and phenomenal director."
Wonder Woman is scheduled to open in theaters June 2, 2017.
