BLACK PANTHER #1 Sells 330k+, Prompting 'Hip-Hop-Driven' Monthly Recaps by TA-NEHISI COATES

After its debut issue earned a reported 330,000 in sales according to The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel's Black Panther will now be recapped in "hip-hop-driven" monthly videos narrated by series writer Ta-Nehisi Coates. The videos will kick off next week with "Black Panther 101," timed to coincide with the May 11 release of Black Panther #2. Future monthly installments, prefaced with "Previously On" in the title, will recap previous issues accompanied by music from unnamed hip-hop acts.
