Mads Mikkelsen is playing mystery characters in both Doctor Strange and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, but in an interview with Sky News he apparently accidentally slipped one key detail about his entry into the Star Wars universe.
"I read the script and it was very beautiful, and Felicity is playing this lovely, strong woman and I play her father," Mikkelsen said. "And that was too much. I'm sorry."
The enterprising TV reporter went on to ask if he could comment on whether Darth Vader would be appearing in the Star Wars: A New Hope prequel, and the Hannibal alum was a bit more coy.
"Yes I can, but I won't," Mikkelsen said.
When asked about that mystery role in Doctor Strange, Mikkelsen played his cards close to his vest but did confirm that he is an antagonist in the film, but not a "baddie."
"I believe I'm allowed to say that I play an opponent," he said. "Not really a baddie, but someone who believes in something else that Doctor Strange believes in."

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is scheduled to open in theaters December 16, while Doctor Strange is aimed as a November 4 release.
