Loki actor Tom Hiddleston has been cagey about reprising his iconic villain role after next year's Thor: Ragnarok, but there's at least one thing that could get him back in the helmet - a showdown with Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange.
“In some hypothetical world, I don’t quite know when, for Loki and Doctor Strange to share the same frame would be very exciting indeed,” Hiddleston told the New York Daily News. “Because Benedict Cumberbatch is an old friend. So I would think it would be interesting to see who would get the upperhand.”
As for what the real likelihood of that crossover is, Hiddleston remained characteristically mum.
“Truthfully, I do actually know at the moment how many more times I’m going to play Loki, but I’m not going to tell you. It’s not personal, it’s just keeping it fresh for all paying customers to enjoy their films."
Doctor Strange is scheduled to hit theaters November 4, while Thor: Ragnarok is scheduled for November 3, 2017.
