With this summer’s Rebirth, the relaunched Teen Titans and Red Hood & The Outlaws will have dramatically new line-ups and motives as revealed in this week's DC Comics Previews catalog.

In the new Teen Titans series by Green Arrow writer Benjamin Percy and artist Jonboy Meyer, Damian Wayne will lead an all-new, “handpicked” version of the team that includes Raven, Starfire, Beast Boy and Kid Flash.

"Teen Titans is one of the most dynamic and legendary series in comics history, and I couldn't be more excited to take it on," said Percy. "The diverse roster of characters offers an endless turnstile of narrative possibilities. Damian gives us detective stories. Raven gives us fantasy and horror. Starfire gives us sci-fi. Beast Boy gives us comedy. Kid Flash gives us a dose of everything, but especially human drama, as the rookie of the team and the member who typically has the biggest heart and acts as a man of the people. There are so many emotional and narrative layers to explore, worlds of storytelling in one book."

Wayne will be assembling team to hunt down his villainous grandfather, Ra’s al Ghul.

In Red Hood & The Outlaws, Jason Todd has recruited “half-baked Superman clone” Bizarro and Artemis, whom returning series writer Scott Lobdell describes as “a fallen Amazon.” This makes a unique off-kilter version of DC’s Trinity, with a Bat-character, a Superman-related character, and a Amazonian like Wonder Woman.

Todd’s goal is to use his Red Hood identity to infiltrate the Gotham underworld and take down the various villains from the inside.

Teen Titans #1 is scheduled for release October 5, while Red Hood & the Outlaws is scheduled for August 8.
