Marvel Comics has announced several new projects at a Diamond Retailer Breakfast at C2E2 2016.

In addition to Civil War II: Amazing Spider-Man, Marvel has announced Deadpool and the Mercs For Money as an ongoing series, to follow the mini-series of the same name. Marvel also announced that Spider-Gwen will receive an annual in June, featuring the very different version of Captain America from her world.

In other Spider-Man news, a cover for "Dead No More" by Alexander Lozano was shown, with what appeared to be Uncle Ben, Jean DeWolff, George Stacy, and others seemingly returning from the dead - though, curiously, it did not appear that Gwen Stacy was among them.

Along with these announcements, Marvel also revealed that December's Star Wars: Rogue One will receive a comic book companion in October, consisting of a three-issue mini-series and a one-shot.

The publisher also announced that pre-sales of their Star Wars: Poe Dameron series had topped 200,000 copies, while pre-sales for their new Black Panther ongoing had reached 300,000.
