Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star Henry Cavill's take on Clark Kent has evolved since he first played the character in Man of Steel. In fact, he says in Batman v Superman, Clark is much closer to the character we know "from the comic books."

"It's more the Clark Kent we know from the comic books," Cavill told inSing TV. "As opposed to the Richard Donner, Christopher Reeve version of Clark Kent."

"While that character is very much beloved, I feel that this Clark is very much in line with that, he's a journalist, he's a reporter. There's less of that light touch, less of that comedic touch to his performance, his presentation to the world."
