The J.J. Abrams-directed film is scheduled to be released April 1 on Digital HD and Disney Movies Anywhere, followed by a Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD on April 5. Bonus Features scheduled to be included are:

  • Secrets of The Force Awakens: A Cinematic Journey – For the first time, discover the complete story behind the making of The Force Awakens, revealed through in-depth footage and exclusive interviews with the actors and filmmakers in this feature documentary.

Curiously, the home video release won't have, or at least Disney is not advance billing, any preview material for this December's Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
