Warner Bros.' big-screen feature film The Flash has been moved forward to March 16, 2018, according to Variety, although the trade doesn't seem to realize the film's original release date of March 23, 2018 was previously announced by the studio.

Warner Bros has also reportedly added an untitled "event" film penciled in for March 2, 2018, though it seems unlikely the studio would add another DC-centric film just two weeks before The Flash.

Warner Bros. shingle New Line has also added a "tentpole" film for April 20, 2018. Variety speculates that the latter could be a sequel to the blockbuster San Andreas film, but Joseph Gordon-Levitt's The Sandman or another Vertigo adaptation is possible given films from that DC imprint will be released via New Line.
