The recently debuted A-Force ongoing series is getting a new creative team this spring, with Jem & The Holograms writer Kelly Thompson and Prez artist Ben Caldwell. Thompson was recently added to the series as a co-writer with G. Willow Wilson after the book was originally solicited, and the first issue slid from its original December launch to January 6. Thompson is now taking sole writing duties, beginning with fifth issue.

"For A-Force’s second arc, with Ben Caldwell coming on as artist, we just leaned into everything that was already so exciting about the book—the huge power sets, the natural comedy, and the great team dynamic—which is at once both fun and full of friction," said Thompson. "Ben excels at everything but I’m particularly a fan of his character work and the movement he brings to a story; it’s so expressive and fun and I just wanted to give him as much room as possible so he can do what he does best."

Thompson says to expect A-Force to have "a different look and energy" than the first arc, and be bringing in "a couple exciting-- and new!-- guest stars."

Thompson and Caldwell's run begins with A-Force #5. Marvel did not solicit a fourth issue in March, so it's unknown when this new arc will debut.
