Captain America: Civil War directors Joe and Anthony Russo are primed to be the most prolific filmmakers in Marvel Cinematic Universe history once they complete that and the two-part Avengers: Infinity War movie, but that doesn't stop them from wanting more -- namely, a Black Widow movie. At a press conference in China, the two light up when asked if they'd be interested in directing in a solo Black Widow film.
"Hell yeah! We love that character," said Joe Russo.
"And we love Scarlett," Anthony added, referrnig to Scarlett Johannson.
"We find that [Black Widow] is one of (if not the) richest character in the Marvel universe," continued Joe Russo. "A very complex character, haunted by demons and her understanding of the world is fascinating. I think there is a lot that can be done with that character."
