ABC has announced that the recently announced two-hour season premiere of Agent Carter will be pushed back two weeks to make way for an even more popular government employee: President Barack Obama. President Obama's annual State of the Union address is scheduled to take place on January 12, and as always will be simulcast across the three major networks (including ABC), forcing Agent Carter to relocate.

Agent Carter was scheduled to debut January 5 and then have a second episode on January 12, but in order to avoid a one week gap in episodes ABC has now moved the season premiere to Tuesday, January 19.
