IDW is kicking off its next major Transformers event with February's 50th issues of Transformers and Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye, and a event expert is joining them: Secret Wars' Jonathan Hickman. Newsarama has the first look at Hickman's variant cover to Transformers #50 as part of the advance solicitations for both the main Transformers titles.

Series writer John Barber talked with Newsarama last month about the 2016 event and Hickman's involvement here.

Look for IDW's full February 2016 solicitations on Wednesday, November 18.
