Ahead of the release of the film The Hateful Eight, writer/director Quentin Tarantino has partnered with Playboy and artist Zach Meyer for a comic book story set in the same world. The eight-page story is described by the magazine as a "sneak peek" of the film.

This wouldn't be Tarantino's first time writing comic books, however. He recently co-wrote Django Unchained for DC/Vertigo and a Django/Zorro crossover for Dynamite. He's often referenced comic books in his films as well.

You can read the full The Hateful Eight comic book at this link.

The Hateful Eight opens in theaters December 25.
