Transparent actress Amy Landecker has been cast in a mystery role for the upcoming Doctor Strange film, according to The Wrap. The film, directed by Scott Derrickson, stars Benedict Cumberbatch in the title role. Written by Jon Spaihts, it is reportedly based somewhat on Brian K. Vaughn and Marcos Martin's Doctor: Strange: The Oath.
Landecker is a veteran television actor, starring in Amazon's current Transparent series as well as multiple roles in the Law & Order franchise. She also voiced Laetitia England in the Assassin's Creed video game franchise.
Doctor Strange is scheduled to debut November 4, 2016.
