Spoilers ahead for Amazing Spider-Man #3.
This week's Amazing Spider-Man #3 drops some major clues about the fate of the Fantastic Four, whose post-Secret Wars whereabouts remain one of the "All-New, All-Different Marvel" Universe's biggest questions.
Readers have known for some time that Peter Parker was planning to turn the Baxter Building into the New York offices of Parker Industries, and Amazing Spider-Man #3 finally has Parker unveiling his plans to the world. Of course, not everyone is excited about the development - Spider-Man's longtime best friend Johnny Storm is incensed, to say the least, rampaging through the Baxter Building when he hears the news.
Johnny, of course, calms down once Peter reveals the real reason he bought the Baxter Building - to keep it out of everyone else's hands, for when "the FF are finally back."
Now, the few words here may not seem like a lot, but it's actually much more than we knew previously. We know the Fantastic Four are still on everyone's minds, and we can surmise that something happened to them - probably tied to the end of Secret Wars - that caused them to go away.
So far, we know the Fantastic Four team has dissolved, with the Human Torch joining up with the Inhumans and Thing with the Guardians of the Galaxy. None of the Richards family has been spotted -- unless you could the Ultimate Reed Richards -- calling himself the Maker -- in Uncanny Avengers.
