The Spider-Women are getting together for a new crossover event in 2016 titled, fittingly enough, Spider-Women. Announced Saturday at New York Comic Con's "All-New All-Different Marvel" panel, Spider-Gwen, Spider-Woman and Silk will be crossing over -- with their creative teams in tow.

According to Marvel, Spider-Women kicks off when Jessica Drew and Cindy Moon find themselves stuck in Spider-Gwen's alternate reality. And while they're away from the main Marvel universe, doppelgangers masquerading as them are causing havok in New York.

Much like the recently announced Avengers: Standoff! and last year's "Black Vortex" crossover, the event will begin with a kick-off "Alpha" issue before going into the three ongoing books, then culminating with a finale "Omega" issue.

Spider-Women is scheduled to begin in early 2016. Look for more information as it's revealed here at Newsarama.
