Updated October 8, 2015 at 11:02 a.m. ET: It turns out free WiFi isn't all the fictional LexCorp is rolling out at New York Comic-Con. In a new video, LexCorp announced it has free charging stations and portable chargers for NYCC attendees. A new operating system, Lex/OS, is also announced, but no word on if you can get that or if its vaporware:

Original Story: Stark Industries handed out free flash drives at a comic convention once, but the main villain of next year's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is looking to provide something more this week at New York Comic Con. In the FAQ for this year's event, it's noted that the complimentary WiFi is made possible by the (fictional) LexCorp Industries.

Yes. Free WiFi throughout the Javits Center will be provided by LexCorp Industries.

LexCorp unites humanity through technology. We believe in technology as a means of communication, unification and a source of inspiration. To access the WiFi on-site at the Javits Center, connect to the "LexCorp" network from the list of available networks.

You will automatically be redirected to the LexCorp WiFi login page where you can enter your email address and click "CONNECT" to gain access to the network. LexCorp – together, we can build a better world.

Can you trust sending your information over a connection provided by such a noted DC villain? That's up to you.
