Is there room in CBS' Supergirl for not just one, not just two, but three Supergirls?

Lauren Vandervoort, who played Supergirl in Smallville, has told Entertainment Weekly that she's in talks to make an appearance in the upcoming CBS superhero drama

“Hopefully I get to be a part of it at some point. Which is looking good,” said the actress. “Maybe.”

Vandervoort currently stars in the Syfy series Bitten, but played Kara Zor-El (a.k.a. Supergirl) from 2007 to 2011 on CW's Smallville.

Another previous Supergirl, Helen Slater of the 1984 movie Supergirl, is already scheduled to appear in the CBS series alongside former Superman Dean Cain.

Glee actress Melissa Benoist plays the title role in CBS's Supergirl, which debuts October 26.
