The Hollywood Reporter is citing unnamed sources that a big screen adaptation of Daniel Clowes' Wilson is in the works. Reportedly, Woody Harrelson and Laura Dern are in talks to star, with The Skeleton Twins director Craig Johnson eyed to direct. THR reports that filming is expected to begin next month in Minneapolis.

Wilson is the latest in a string of comics-to-film adaptations for Clowes, with both Ghost World and Art School Confidential both being adapted to critical success. All three films are being directed from screenplays by Clowes himself.

BUMBLEBEE Confirmed As Possible TRANSFORMERS Spin-Off

At Hasbro's presentation at Global Consumer Conference 2015, Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner spoke about the possibility of a Bumblebee spin-off film, with Transformer World quoting him as saying "As we go forward, we would imagine several more Transformers movies. Not just in the current lineage but also spinoffs and focusing on certain key characters that are beloved by the world over. Many of you know Bumblebee; the yellow Camaro… formerly known as a yellow VW Bug, and he is a beloved character by kids all over the world. We could see stories told around Bumblebee and other characters.”

Paramount has been adding writers to its Transformers team, headed up by Akiva Goldsman, for some time now. This is the second possible spin-off that has recently been named, as an origin story, entitled "Transformers One" and set on Cybertron, has also been tossed around as a possible spin-off.
