Deadline reports that they are once again looking to make a feature film based off Alan Moore and Kevin O'Neill's comic series The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. This new production will reportedly be developed by Ira Napoliello (Mr. Popper's Penguins) and Matt Reilly, with long-time producer John Davis overseeing the project.

This would be the second attempt at a The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen movie after the 2003 film starring Sean Connery. That film was initially planned to have a sequel, but the poor performance of the originals cut those plans short.

In 2013, Fox produced a television pilot based on the comic book series but was reportedly rejected.
