Archie Comics is relaunching their signature series Archie with a new number #1 in July with Mark Waid and Fiona Staples, and now they've announced plans for three more revamps of the Riverdale titles -- but need financial help to do it.

Dubbed "Riverdale Reborn," the New York-based company is looking to raise $350,000 via Kickstarter to fund three new series: Betty & Veronica to be written and drawn by Adam Hughes, Jughead to be written by Chip Zdarsky an an artist to be announced, and Life With Kevin by writer/artist Dan Parent and inker J. Bone.

"The response to the new Archie #1 was massive," the pubisher states on the Kickstarter page. "Fans are ready and eager to read Archie's new adventures. Why? Readers are hungry for stories featuring these iconic characters from top comic book creators while still retaining the comedic and family-friendly elements that have sustained the brand for decades. It got us thinking that perhaps there was room in the crowded comic book landscape for the kind of comics we want to publish—funny, engaging and emotional stories from the best creators in comics featuring the most recognizable characters ever. But we can't do it alone!"

The publisher intends for all of these three series to be ongoing titles, with plans for all to launch by the end of 2015. The $250,000 is to fund the production, promotion and printing of these comics, with pledge levels ranging from $1 to $9,995. Higher-end rewards include lifetime subscriptions to Archie titles, creating a story for a future Archie comic, and being drawn as a character in an Archie comic. Digital copies are available at the lower levels, with $20 earning print copies of Archie #1, Jughead #1, and a printed thank you.
