TYLER PERRY Cast In TMNT 2, BATCAVE Possibly Revealed on GOTHAM, FLASH / ARROW Spin-Off Adds to Cast, More

According to Variety, actor/director Tyler Perry has joined the cast of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 as the mad scientist Baxter Stockman. Perry joins recent addition Stephen Amell as Casey Jones, while no details of returning cast or plot for the second film have been confirmed.

While there is no word on what role Stockman will play in the film's story, in most versions of TMNT, Stockman is a villain, creating robotic enemies for the turtles and occassionally teaming with Shredder.


GOTHAM's BATCAVE Revealed?

A new trailer for the season finale of Gotham has hit the web, showcasing numerous threads coming together to cap off the season.

Most intriguing, however, are the last few seconds of the clip, which seem to show young Bruce Wayne and Alfred revealing the entrance to the Batcave. Check it out right here:


EDGAR WRIGHT and JOE CORNISH to Receive Expanded ANT-MAN Writing Credit

A Writer's Guild arbitration over the story credit for Marvel's Ant-Man has come to a close.

According to The Wrap, the arbitration concluded with original Ant-Man writer/director Edgar Wright and co-writer Joe Cornish receiving sole credit for the film's story, while writer Adam McKay and star Paul Rudd will also receive writing credits.

Wright left the project before filming commenced, citing creative differences, however, according to The Wrap's story, much of his storyboards were reused by the film's eventual director Peyton Reed.

Ant-Man stars Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lilly, and Corey Stoll and is set for a July 17, 2015 release.

FRANZ DRAMEH Joins Upcoming ARROW/FLASH Spin-Off

Edge of Tomorrow actor Franz Drameh has joined the cast of the as-yet untitled Arrow/Flash spin-off on the CW. 

Drameh plays Jay Jackson, a former high school athlete and auto mechanic who comes to have a relationship with S.T.A.R. Labs.

The untitled spin-off, reportedly about a super-team, also stars Brandon Routh as the Atom, Victor Garber as Professor Martin Stein, Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold, Dominic Purcell as Heatwave, Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Ciara Renee as Hawkgirl, and Arrow veteran Caity Lotz in an as-yet unspecified role.
