SUICIDE SQUAD Casts Ike Barinholtz, Lionsgate & Comic-Con to Launch Streaming Video Service, Marvel Costume Designer Talks DEATHLOK

Heat Vision is reporting that comedic actor Ike Barinholtz has been added to the cast of David Ayer's Suicide Squad in an as yet unrevealed role. Barinholtz is best known as a co-executive producer, writer, and star of The Mindy Project, as well as for writing comedic films such as the upcoming Central Intelligence, starring Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson. 

Along with the announcment, director David Ayer tweeted a cast photo from a table read for Suicide Squad, seen here.


Comic-Con International and Lionsgate To Unveil Streaming Video Service

Also at Heat Vision is news that movie studio Lionsgate is teaming with Comic-Con International to launch a streaming video service aimed at fans. The as-yet unnamed service will showcase archival footage from 45 years of Comics-Con Internation: San Diego, as well as Lionsgate films and television series, and new original content.

"The fan base for the kind of films and television series showcased at Comic-Con has grown exponentially, and a subscription video-on-demand service is the ideal platform to capture the magic and excitement of the Comic-Con experience year-round as well as the perfect vehicle for Comic-Con fans to discover new content," said Lionsgate president of worldwide TV and digital distribution Jim Packer.


Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Costume Designer Ann  Foley Talks Deathlok

In a recent interview, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. costume designer Ann Foley talked about Deathlok's new look, saying "I don't think of it as a redesign, so much as a part of Deathlok's evolution."

Foley went on to describe the darker, "noir" feeling of the costumes in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2, saying that the designers wanted to show how the group has matured since the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D. Check out the video in its entirety right here:
