Marvel's Daredevil series on Netflix premieres this Friday, and as the days count down the marketing picks up.
For starters, two new trailers, seen back to back here, have debuted online, showing new footage of Daredevil and his mentor, Stick, as well as offering a deeper look at Wilson Fisk, A.K.A. the Kingpin.
As for Daredevil himself, Matt Murdock actor Charlie Cox talked about what it was like donning the classic Daredevil suit on Reddit's Ask Me Anything forum, saying "I love both of the suits. Obviously it was great to involve the John Romita Jr. black ninja costume but the day I first put on the iconic costume is a day I will never forget."
Cox also responded to a question about whether Batman or Daredevil would win in a fight, saying, "I would have to back Daredevil against Batman but that may be because I am close to him now."
Also in the AMA, Cox and Kingpin actor Vincent D'Onofrio talked about their comic influences, with D'Onofrio saying that while, the cast weren't given comics, they did seek them out, with Brian Bendis and Alex Maleev's run being the most useful in establishing the series's tone.
D'Onofrio also spoke about Daredevil's connection to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, saying he would love to appear in Captain America: Civil War, but also talking about Kingpin as a possible nemesis for Marvel and Sony's upcoming Spider-Man reboot.
