Elektra #2 cover by Mike Del MundoCredit: Marvel
In a chat with SciFiNow, Daredevil showrunner Steven DeKnight talked about some of the characters you won’t see in the first season ... but might soon later. Teasing them for the second season, DeKnight had this to day about Elektra and Bullseye, two important Daredevil supporting cast members.
“Looking forward, there are so many stories to tell. The Hand, Elektra, Bullseye… with a 13-episode arc you don’t have to rush it; you can explore. That’s not to say we are going to do Bullseye and Elektra, but it’s on the radar.”
While that’s hardly a confirmation of their inclusion, it does imply not only that a second season is in discussions, but that the crew has their eyes on these fan-favorite characters.
Bryan Singer talks Rogue in X-Men: Days of Future Past
There was one major X-character missing almost-entirely from X-Men: Days of Future Past; the X-Men’s power-siphoning bombshell, Rogue. While we’ve known for some time that there was a cut of the film that included her, today director Bryan Singer tweeted about just how much was dropped when Rogue was cut from the film.
The “Rogue Cut,” as it’s called, has yet to surface, but it's scheduled to see the light of day later this year. The film's producer, Simon Kinberg, discussed the contents of the Rogue Cut with the Daily Beast way back in May of last year, saying "The Rogue/Anna Paquin scene was by far the biggest cut we made, and that was more my fault than anything. When I was crafting the script, I wanted to create a subplot for old Charles and old Eric — Patrick [Stewart] and Ian [McKellen] — to have a mini-mission together, one final adventure. And that’s what the Rogue sequence was — that they went to retrieve Rogue."
