I want to believe.

After months of rumors, it's finally happened. Fox has revived the X-Files for a six-part limited series on television. According to The Hollywood Reporter, both Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny will reprise their roles as Dana Scully and Fox Mulder, respectively.

Series creator Chris Carter, who is also returning, had this to say. “I think of it as a 13-year commercial break. The good news is the world has only gotten that much stranger, a perfect time to tell these six stories.”

Production on the six-part limited series begins this spring, with no release date yet announced.
