Although Daredevil is shaping up to be a battle of brains and brawn between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk, Marvel is being quick on adding some other players that could act as friend, foe, or fodder.

Marvel announced today six new castmembers to the first season of Daredevil which debuts on Netflix April 10.

Person of Interest's Rob Morgan has been cast as Turk Barrett, a smalltime criminal who's shown up in the past in comics.

Matt Gerald of Avatar fame has been cast as Melvin Potter, who in comics is both a costume maker for villains but also a villain himself, Gladiator. Unless Marvel has a trick up their sleeve, this would be a rare case of one actor playing multiple roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as Gerald played White Power Dave in the prison scene of Marvel One-Shot: Hail to the King.

Kingpin is getting an ally in the form of Peter Shinkoda fresh off of Falling Skies, who will be playing a Japanese businessman named Nobu.

Wai Ching Wo is playing Madame Gao.

Rounding out the casting is actors for the Russian brothers Vladimir and Anatoly. They will be played by Nikolai Nikolaeff and Gideon Emery, respectively.
