Meet the three newest members of A.K.A. Jessica Jones, and by extension the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
According to Variety, A.K.A. Jessica Jones has hired three new cast members to help flesh out the ensemble. The Originals' Eka Darville will play Malcolm Powder, who in comics is a high school student who befriends Jones as a fan of her superhero career. Erin Moriarty, who was recently in The Kings of Summer, plays a young woman who becomes a client of Jones' private investigation company. And Red Widow's Wil Travel is set to play an unnamed New York cop whom Variety says "takes 'protect and serve' very seriously."
These three join a cast comprised of Krysten Ritter as the titular main star, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, David Tennant as Kilgrave (a.k.a. and Purple Man), Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker and The Matrix's Carrie-Anne Moss in an unspecified role. A.K.A. Jessica Jones is planned to debut sometime in late 2015, and will be the second of five Netflix original series by Marvel after April's Daredevil.
