Looks like someone at S.H.I.E.L.D. is getting a promotion.
Deadline is reporting that Adrianne Palicki, who has guest starred recently on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Bobbi Morse (a.k.a. Mockingbird), has been upped to series regular. Palicki debuted in the role in the second episode of the show's second season, and will be seen next in the mid-season premiere on March 3.
In Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Palicki's character of Bobbi Morse was introduced as a HYDRA operative who had secretly been working as a double-agent for S.H.I.E.L.D. Morse's ex-husband, Lance Hunter, remains a HYDRA agent.
This is the latest in a long line of comic book adaptations and genre movies Palicki has been a part of. She's most well known for playing the title character in the canceled Wonder Woman pilot by David E. Kelley, and also starred as Nadia in the shelfed Aquaman pilot. In addition to that, she starred as Lady Jaye in G.I. Joe: Retaliation.
