First he played a morally ambiguous smuggler/pirate in sci-fi space opera box office hit, then he played Indiana Jones. No, we're not just talking about Harrison Ford anymore, we may also be talking aboug Chris Pratt.

Deadline reports Disney is eying Pratt to fill Harrison Ford's shoes in an Indiana Jones revival, which the studio acquired in 2013 as part of its acquisition of Lucasfilm and the ownership of Star Wars.

With a starring role in this summer's Jurassic World, Pratt is on the fast track to being one of the world's biggest movie stars. Expect news of him signing on to play Optimus Prime in 2016's Transformers 5 and/or adult Elliott in an E.T. sequel soon. And if James Cameron can figure out how to make a Titanic prequel, look out.

Newsarama recommends you take this "news" as literally reported, however, as Deadline says talks between Disney and Pratt are "very early" but their hope is to build the new franchise around the star. But look at the above image. He's practically done the first Raiders' scene already.

That being said - who's going to be first with a Raiders of the Lost Galaxy poster?
