It looks like CW is pulling a trick when it comes to depicting the Trickster in The Flash television series. ComicBook.com reports that the freshman show has cast Dexter star Devon Graye to play a second Trickster, real name Axel, in the season's upcoming seventeenth episode.

Just a few weeks ago Star Wars' Mark Hamill was announced to play the Trickster, aka James Jesse, in that very same episode of The Flash. Here's how CW described this episode when Hamill's casting was announced:

In this new iteration, The Trickster is an anarchist terrorist con man serving a life sentence in Iron Heights who helps Barry (Grant Gustin) and Det. West (Jesse L. Martin) to foil the city-wide attacks of a wannabe Trickster eagerly following in the original's deadly footsteps.

The Flash will return from its winter break with new episodes beginning Tuesday, January 20.

THE WALKING DEAD Hires MAD MEN Actor

After Daryl's Sexualty was set as straight by Robert Kirkman during an episode of The Talking Dead, is a new hire to The Walking Dead  looking to bring in a major gay character from the comics? TVLine thinks so.

TVLine reports that the hit AMC show has hired television actor Ross Marquand for an unidentified role in the upcoming second half of the show's current season. Up until now, Marquand has had small roles in various live action and animated shows, including voicing Han Solo in Phineas & Ferb and playing Paul Newman in Mad Men. He also is a noted impressionist, posting several YouTube videos showing off his various takes on popular characters and real people. Take a look:

TVLine's cites unnamed sources that Marquand will play the comics character Aaron, who debuted in The Walking Dead #67 as part of the Alexandria Safe-Zone community.

In late 2014, Kirkman says that a "prominent" gay character from comics would show up in the fifth season, so it's possible he was referring to Aaron and, by extension, Marquand could be in that role.

The Walking Dead returns with new episodes beginning Sunday, February 8.
