Whatever happened to the DC worlds and heroes before "New 52"? Well, find out now as DC has revealed to Entertainment Weekly the inaugural cover and solicitation text for the April launch of Convergence. The series, written by TV writer Jeff King, pulls heroes and villains from across the various universes of the DCU in a struggle for survival.

Here's a look at what to expect come April, as well as the lush cover by Ivan Reis Reis and Joe Prado.

[Also, it looks like DC will roll out the final April 2015 Convergence solicits in waves this week. Yesterday was Week 1 of the 40 two-part series (click to check those out). Our best guess is to look for Week 2 at a couple of additional online venues Wednesday, Week 3 Thursday, and Week 4 Friday.]
