“This crusade of ours is supposed to be about justice,” Diggle says in voice over. That’s the start of a new trailer for Arrow, which features new villains, old vigilantes, and that mysterious dream that Roy seems to be having.
The trailer also teases more romance for Felicity, the debut of Amy Gumenick as Cupid, a woman so obsessed with Arrow that she tries to follow in his footsteps, and some Laurel toughening-up montage-ing. It also includes a few scenes from this past week’s episode, interestingly.
It’s a very cinematic trailer, and about three times as long as your average episode preview, an oddity for a trailer of a series five episodes into their third season. It goes to show the way they’re treating these properties on TV.
Arrow airs Wednesday nights at 8pm on The CW.
