Jack Kirby: Mister Miracle Artist's Edition. Really, that might be all that needs to be said about this book, but we'll give you more details. After the hit release of Jack Kirby New Gods: Artist's Edition, IDW Publishing is going back to The King's well for another look at one of his most popular Fourth World characters. The Artist's Editions pull from brand new scans of the original art for a look at an artist's personal style.

Kirby's Mister Miracle debuted in 1971 as part of the first Fourth World introduction, and lasted 18 issues. The character is still alive and well in the DC Universe today, with a key role in their current weekly series (both of them!). The new collection includes seven complete issues of the original Kirby art, clocking in at 192 pages of 12" by 17" art.

"The weath of huge ideas and stunning visuals that poured from Jack Kirby's mind is just staggering," said Special Projects Director Scott Dunbier in a press release. "You want to find out why he's called King Kirby? Get this book!"

IDW confirmed to Newsarama that the book will hit stores "Mid to Late January 2015," though an exact date is still being ironed out.
