Report: LOKI vs. KING KONG - TOM HIDDLESTON To Journey to SKULL ISLAND

After the reveal at Comic-Con in July of the new King Kong origin movie Skull Island, the first main casting notice has gone out today. The movie will see King Kong and his island full of dinosaurs and monsters hit theaters on November 4, 2016, and to support the giant creatures is a giant star - Tom Hiddleston.

The erstwhile Loki will undoubtedly have a large role to play in the currently unscheduled and being written Thor 3, but is certainly staying busy, with three films scheduled for 2015 including the horror pic from Guillermo del Toro, Crimson Peak. Deadline reports that Jordan Vogt-Roberts, a largely unproven director who has mostly worked in TV and the web is directing, and Max Borenstein, who wrote this year’s Godzilla reboot for Legendary is handling the screenplay.
