Update: Not so surprisingly, director Zack Snyder has trumped Wednesday morning's apparent leak of set images of a Batmobile from 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, with an official look at the fully tracked out version.

Original story: Thanks to a pair of intrepid Instagramers and AICN (and Batman-News for spotting them) out by the set of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, we have fresh looks at the Batmobile. The greyscale vehicle is somewhat comically pulled up behind a standard-looking silver sedan in the shots, most likely not on the active set.
This Batmobile will draw more comparisons to an F1 race car than a tank like the last iteration. The vehicle sports wing-like doors that open directly vertical exposing a two-person cockpit (is Batman working with someone? Has he in the past? is he just thinking ahead?) that asks a lot of questions.
It appears as if the front and rear wheels have independent control, similar to the Warthog vehicle in the Halo video game franchise, as well, meaning the car should move significantly differently from others that have come before it.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters March 25, 2016, and stars Henry Cavill as Superman, with Ben Affleck joining as Batman.
