Zack Snyder Defends AQUAMAN on Detroit Radio

"You guys were disparaging, a little bit, Aquaman..." That's how Zack Snyder started his phone call to Detroit radio station 97.1 "The Ticket." The director of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice called into the station while on his way to the set of the film to take down their Aquaman hate a notch.
"There's some question as to his abilities... does he talk to fish or whatever? I think the cool thing is, with Aquaman, his trident could actually cut the flesh of Superman if they came in contact. He's superstrong, he exists at these crazy depths so when he comes up here... anyway, I'm not saying he's in my movie or anything... but he has the potential to be a badass!" the director said.
Rumor says that Jason Momoa, of Game of Thrones fame, has been cast to play Aquaman in the film, as well as the follow-up Justice League. He has yet to be officially confirmed by Warner Bros or Snyder. Check out the audio at Detroit's local CBS affiliate here.
