When Thanos appeared in the post-credits scene of 2012's Marvel's The Avengers, fans worldwide began wondering where they'd see the mad titan show up next; turns out his next major appearance won't be in live action but animation. Earlier today USA Today revealed that Thanos will be appearing in this Sunday's episdoe of Marvel's Avengers Assemble, coming into posession of the Tesseract alongside the Cosmic Skull. New Details On Avengers' Disney Infinity game
And speaking of Marvel’s The Avengers, Disney ain’t messing around with the synergistic, cross-platform stuff.
Thursday morning Disney Interactive debuted a new gameplay trailer for Disney Infinity (2.0 Edition), set for release this fall. The storyline, crafted in part by Brian Bendis, features Iron Man, Black Widow, Thor, Captain America, Hulk and Hawkeye battle Loki in NYC.

Hasbro Brings the Infinity Gauntlet To Comic-Con For You To Try On -- And To Buy!
In related news, Hasbro has announced a cosmic-themed assortment of exclusive offerings for fans attending Comic-Con Internationak: San Diego this summer. From July 23 to 27, Hasbro will be offering SDCC attendees the chance to buy two unique toy packages, one of which is a Infinity Gauntlet-themed package including action figures of Thanos, Death, Starfox and Nebula, along with a wearable foam Infinity Gauntlet glove that's bound to be a must-have accessory at Comic-Con. That package will retail for $74.99, with the second package priced at $99.99 based on The Thanos Imperative and including figures of Star-Lord, Blastaar, Gladiator, Black Bolt and Medusa -- all contained in a special-edition box designed to look like the Galactus Engine from that event series. For those who can't make it to Comic-Con, USAToday says a limited number will be sold after the convention at HasbroToyShop.com.

Actor Channing Tatum is at Cannes this week promoting his upcoming feature Foxcatcher, but the questions he seems to be answering more is the recently revealed role as Gambit in the forthcoming X-Men: Apocalypse. Although both Tatum and X-Men's producers have talked about his role in the film, Tatum tells The Hollywood Reporter that his hiring isn't 100%, describing it as being "on the one yard line." THR goes on to re-affirm earlier reports that a solo Gambit film is already pencilled in after the character's role in X-Men: Apocalypse.
