This Tuesday's Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will be its season finale as opposed to the series finale, since we learned Thursday evening the freshmen action/drama has been renewed for a second season.

Here's three minutes from the upcoming episode as "Coulson forms a risky plan and readies his team for the battle with Cybertek and Hydra, while Ward is worried about Garrett’s mental state and sends Raina in to find out what’s really going on."
 


Screenwriter Roberto Orci Frontrunner To Direct STAR TREK 3

Screenwriter/producer Roberto Orci has written some of the biggest genre films in the past decade, from Transformers to Star Trek: Enter Darkness to The Amazing Spider-Man 2 – and now according to Deadline the Mexican/American writer is the frontrunner to directthe third Star Trek film. If this comes to pass, it would be a daunting task for Orci as he’s never directed before – in films or television. Orci recently dissolved his long-time screenwriting/producing partnership with Alex Kurtzman (although they’re continue to work together on television projects), with his partner already announced as directing the Spider-Man spin-off film Venom.

John Goodman & Ken Watanabe Join Autobots voice cast for TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION

Director Michael Bay is bringing in some veteran actors to flesh out the voice cast of the forthcoming Transformers: Age of Extinction. Deadline is reporting that Inception’s Ken Watanabe has been cast to voice the Autobot Drift, and veteran television actor John Goodman has been tapped the classic Autobot known as Hound. Goodman and Watanabe join a cast that includes Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Titus Welliver, and the returning Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime and Frank Welker in the new role of Galvatron.
