If there's one character that needs more exposure, it's Batman. Thankfully, for his 75th anniversary, DC Comics, that company that took its name from the comic book Batman first appeared in, is giving Batman the spotlight he needs - and the spotlight he deserves.

Coming in July 2014, twenty-one DC Comics will feature Batman on the cover, showing a marked increase from the standard 10-15 per month. The variant covers are a who's-who of comic book artists, including Jim Steranko covering Detective Comics #33 (as seen here), plus covers by Kevin Nowlan, Klaus Janson, Walt Simonson, Graham Nolan, Cliff Chiang, Sean Murphy, Dave Johnson, Dan Jurgens, Mike Kaluta, and more.

The variants are the latest in a series of monthly themed variant covers, following MAD, Robot Chicken, Steampunk, and Scribblenauts variant months. The full list of comics receiving Batman 75 variants follows.
