DRAGON AGE: INQUISITION Joins Busy October 7 Release with Gameplay Trailer
Large cast shot from Dragon Age: Inquistion - In-Game Footage
It's no secret that we're BioWare fans here at Newsarama, and that means when a new trailer hits, we watch it four or five times then finally pause to post it. Consider this us hitting pause.
If you're a fan of the world of Thedas, you'll likely get chills at some of the scenery, a grin from ear-to-ear when you hear Varric's voice, and enjoy the final shot of the gathered Inquisition, likely showing off some other characters you'll recognize, and teasing some new companions. The shot is also, of course, evocative of a famous painting, and also of another famous fantasy franchise that once gathered a Fellowship.
Oh, and did we mention this is in-game footage? Yeah, this one's gonna be pretty. The trailer also announces that Dragon Age: Inquisition is coming out October 7, 2014.
Of course, October 7, 2014 might already sound familiar to video game fans. That's because Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor - a new original game set in the world of Lord of the Rings, and Alien: Isolation are both also coming out that day. Plus, Batman: Arkham Knight, the finale of that series from Rocksteady hits stores a week later on October 14, 2014. So, basically, put in your time off request for all of October right now, gamers.
