According to the Hollywood Reporter Thursday evening, 20th Century Fox has announced release dates for the sequel to June 19, 2015’s Josh Trank-directed Fantastic Four reboot and another untitled Wolverine solo film directed by The Wolverine’s James Mangold.
FF 2 is reportedly scheduled for July 14, 2017 and the Wolverine threequel is scheduled for March 3, 2017.
THR reports Fox has also slated an untitled ‘mystery’ Marvel film for July 13, 2018.
Director Bryan Singer has already announced X-Men: Apocalypse for 2016, and it has been previously reported that Kick-Ass 2 writer and director Jeff Wadlow was hired to write an X-Force film which X-Force comic book creator Rob Liefeld has talked up in social media. Fox hasn’t announced an official date for X-Force so that remains a possibility for 2018, but rumors have that film pegged for a 2016-ish release too.
Deadpool is always a possibility as Liefeld has also spoken about that film in recent months, and people attached to it like long-time potential star Ryan Reynolds periodically remind fans in interviews the film is still in some form of development.
The ‘mystery’ film could also revive speculation of a possible "super shared universe" FF/X-Men crossover , a possibility that made the rumor mill a few months back.
Finally, Fox's Matthew Vaughn's The Secret Service based on the Mark Millar comic book series has been moved up from March 6, 2015, to October 24, 2014.
